Mile-Ex

A former industrial hinterland located between the Mile End and Parc-Extension neighbourhoods, Mile-Ex is a thriving enclave of artists, small businesses, adventurous restaurateurs, as well as the city's more cutting-edge architecture and design studios. The area carries a raw authenticity that's hard to find in other parts of town.

This is the latest outpost of a local micro-roaster taking Montreal by storm. This sun-filled space at the Jean Talon market is designed to encourage discussion between knowledgeable staff and caffeine-curious customers. Each bag and cup have a unique origin story and taste profile. The Café also bottles their own sodas, including a "spruce" flavour. Fresh pastries and savory treats also are served daily.
