Mile-Ex

A former industrial hinterland located between the Mile End and Parc-Extension neighbourhoods, Mile-Ex is a thriving enclave of artists, small businesses, adventurous restaurateurs, as well as the city's more cutting-edge architecture and design studios. The area carries a raw authenticity that's hard to find in other parts of town.

Like it's popular sister restaurant Pastaga, Cul-sec is a wine-centric dining experience. The small space surrounds diners with wine racks, most of the bottles on them privately-imported from natural and biodynamic producers, each helpfully labeled with a price. The menu offers elegant choices to pair with the wine, such as beer and salmon tartare, hearty salads and creamy desserts from Monsieur Crémeux next door.
