Prospect Heights
One of the sweetest, most tight-knit communities in the 718. Prospect Heights has seen much change in its time, which is visible in the architecture alone - the streets are lined with a mix of beautiful historic rowhouses and new luxury condos. Though small in size, it holds two of the borough’s largest institutions - the BK Museum and the BK Public Library - as well as the Barclays Center, home to the NBA's Brooklyn Nets. Over the past 15 years, we’ve witnessed the resurgence of restaurants, nightlife and shops, putting Prospect Heights on the grid as a beloved Brooklyn destination.

What an awesome new addition to the neighborhood! Named after owner Pietro Sclafani’s home town in Sicily, Ogliastro, this pizza bar is killing it. Enjoy fancy pizzas, salads, charcuterie and cocktails in their warm, low-lit dining room or take it outdoors to the pretty and expansive leafy patio, which is perfect for large groups or parties. We LOVED the food. Start with Rape Arrosto salad of arugula, roasted beets, grapefruit, walnuts, gorgonzola and vin cotto. Then have the Carbonara pizza which is covered with fior di latte, guanciale, fresno chili, pecorino, black pepper, egg yolk and scallions. For the perfect dinner accompany your meal with the Boulevardier cocktail – a compilation of Michter’s Bourbon, Campari and sweet vermouth. Delicioso!
