Prospect Heights
One of the sweetest, most tight-knit communities in the 718. Prospect Heights has seen much change in its time, which is visible in the architecture alone - the streets are lined with a mix of beautiful historic rowhouses and new luxury condos. Though small in size, it holds two of the borough’s largest institutions - the BK Museum and the BK Public Library - as well as the Barclays Center, home to the NBA's Brooklyn Nets. Over the past 15 years, we’ve witnessed the resurgence of restaurants, nightlife and shops, putting Prospect Heights on the grid as a beloved Brooklyn destination.

Pssst - we want to tell you about a secret place. A place that, if you’re not careful, you’ll walk right past. Behind this discreet, signless facade is a gorgeous speakeasy serving killer cocktails. Step inside Weather Up and take in the stunning interior – golden lighting, exposed brick, vaulted ceilings covered in white subway tile and a copper clad bar. It’s like a dream. The bartenders here are true mixologists, they can make any drink from the 1800s to present day. WHOA. This bar is usually crowded, but for good reason, and no one minds getting cozy in this tiny, beautiful space. Our favorite libations are The “La Nina” (White Rum, Fresh Lime, Vanilla & Strawberry Shrub, Mint, Slush) and the classic “Old Fashioned”. Or for true adventure, ask for the “Bartender’s Choice”!
