Pyrmont

Pyrmont has come a long way since it’s early days in Sydney’s history. It used to be a working class suburb and in the early 19th Century it was even considered a slum. Not anymore. It’s now a cultural hot spot full of fancy restaurants, creative agencies, awesome pubs and the Star – Sydney’s only casino… for now. Pyrmont is an old suburb that’s received a bit of a face-lift and it’s well worth a look around.

Set in a beautiful old Victorian style cottage, Culture At Work blends art and science into the perfect balance of visual and cognitive stimuli. It features the work of many established and emerging artists. They also have an artist in residency program. Sherryl Ryan the Founder and CEO, took us on an in depth tour of the space and revealed some fascinating back-stories and insights into the works on display. A must for any creatively minded individual in the area.
