Pyrmont

Pyrmont has come a long way since it’s early days in Sydney’s history. It used to be a working class suburb and in the early 19th Century it was even considered a slum. Not anymore. It’s now a cultural hot spot full of fancy restaurants, creative agencies, awesome pubs and the Star – Sydney’s only casino… for now. Pyrmont is an old suburb that’s received a bit of a face-lift and it’s well worth a look around.

Whether you love or hate it, there’s no denying the array of food, entertainment, shopping, including plenty of high-end fashion stores on offer at the Star. We love grabbing delicious dumplings at Din Tai Fung, or treating ourselves to a ‘Zonut’ at Adriano Zumbo’s shop. Did we mention that the famous gelato place Messina is there too? Yep, a gelato so delicious it could bring about world peace. Get one! It’s another place that’s great for just people watching, and it’s one of the only places in Sydney you can avoid the lockout laws and get boozy all night long.
