Home to roughly 100,000 proud Chicagoans, Lakeview is a mix of energy. The neighborhood is unofficially divided into smaller enclaves: Lakeview East, West Lakeview, Southport Corridor, Boystown & Wrigleyville. It's a mix of the bustling, the peaceful and everything in between. Here you'll find tourists and residents alike vying for space at popular restaurants, cafes, biergartens, boutiques, parks & the lakefront. It's also home to many of the city's "bests" in several categories.

A longtime staple for indie film viewing, this beautiful theatre building at the split of Clark and Broadway recently got a facelift. The Century now sports a slick charcoal interior and a bar/lounge. The building is still waiting on the other tenants to follow suit, but hey. Even with the new lounge, the draw here is still obviously the movies. And with an always impressive lineup of flicks you often can't catch anywhere else, the Century is a must for film fanatics.
