The city bills itself as the "Venice of America" but I don't know about all that. It is however, a pretty eclectic area with no shortage of sunshine or things to do. You can kayak through rich people's backyards, wander into a silent disco or find a coffee shop through a bookcase. What it lacks in mega-clubs & overpriced drinks, it makes up for with unique characters and some good vibes.
Fort Lauderdale is littered with waterways and channels, which can make for some great kayaking.
You can get eye level with everything from an alligator to a sea otter.
Go through the door that says C&I Studios, then walk down a long hallway lined with Edison bulbs, turn left and you're there. Finding the place is almost as cool as the wall of books behind the counter. Brew is at the heart of what makes FATVillage a creative place.
