Ft. Lauderdale

The city bills itself as the "Venice of America" but I don't know about all that. It is however, a pretty eclectic area with no shortage of sunshine or things to do. You can kayak through rich people's backyards, wander into a silent disco or find a coffee shop through a bookcase. What it lacks in mega-clubs & overpriced drinks, it makes up for with unique characters and some good vibes.

What was originally supposed to be used as car storage, and then a man-cave, has transformed into one of Fort Lauderdale's best bars. Sure, you can do the main drag of waterfront bars, but there is something so much cooler about a secluded beer garden in the middle of town. It's everything you want a back-yard party to be, including air conditioning.
