Ft. Lauderdale

The city bills itself as the "Venice of America" but I don't know about all that. It is however, a pretty eclectic area with no shortage of sunshine or things to do. You can kayak through rich people's backyards, wander into a silent disco or find a coffee shop through a bookcase. What it lacks in mega-clubs & overpriced drinks, it makes up for with unique characters and some good vibes.

Despite being one of the newer restaurants in Las Olas, Louie Bossi's is quickly becoming a local favorite. The huge open-air patio makes both happy hour and brunch a packed affair. While the food is good, the atmosphere is great.
